Looking for a new festival adventure? Seafront locations, calm waters and picturesque sunsets with a mountainous backdrop sound like your kind of scenery? Well, the latest festival to hit Georgia has all that, plus spellbinding production and 150 international DJs. Want to hear more? We thought you might. 

These are just some of the highlights expected from the inaugural Echowaves festival, taking place in Anaklia, Georgia. Powered by the award winning Serbian brand Exit, Echowaves will be transporting some of the world’s most recognised heavyweight DJs to the untouched region, surrounded by the Caucasus mountain range. Beats the English countryside right? 

The unique and refreshing location is sure to add an entirely new dynamic to festival hotspots around the world. With recent battles in the Georgia fighting their right to rave, it's a huge win for the country's music scene. 

Featuring five stages with varying production, artists such as techno powerhouses Marcel Dettmann & Ben Klock, Bosnian groover Solomun and house legend Derrick Carter will be adorning the decks, to deliver euphoric moments as the sun sets over the Georgian coast.

On Saturday 10th June we visited the familiar Source Bar, Maidstone. It was the opening party for MOTIVE, formerly "Part-A". This is one of the most exciting brands Kent has to offer at this moment in time. Starting off in Room 3 of The Source Bar back in the tail end of 2016, they then started hosting the infamous courtyard for Source Anthems and now under the new name of "MOTIVE" they have taken over the entire club. MOTIVE bringing together local talent and give them their chance to shine.
