Track Talk : Cumminz releases debut single on Sleazy G

A credit to the old school warehouse rave

Cambridge based DJ/Producer George Cummins has released his debut single, entitled "Dance All Night" on Sleazy G. The release comes soon after a re-boot for the label, aimed at drawing a more warehouse-esque sound from their upcoming tracks, relating to the brand's former years. George's musical journey began early in his youth, where he grew a passion for writing, playing and later producing. During his university days saw the aspiring musician win Electronic Producer of The Year, two years running at the NMG Awards, performing a live set with vocalists Oscar Corney and Melody Causton at the 2017 awards ceremony. These vocalists have later featured on his unreleased singles "Heartbeat" and "The Notion".

Since then George has flown into his DJ career under the moniker Cumminz, with a catalog of performances around the UK already under his belt. Several stints at the world famous Ministry Of Sound Club in London and headlining the opening night of V Festival, have been just some of the early highlights for the young artist. Away from performing has seen the launch of his very own label; Vibe Collective, designed to provide a global platform for his industry peers. Now boasting a reach of 2.5 million listeners, the label has become one of the fastest growing in the scene - not bad going!

His debut single "Dance All Night" pays tribute to a sound which has since become lost in the recent  wave of tech house releases. That meaty, underground warehouse rave sound - you know the one. Starting with an eery intro and fading vocals, the track draws you in from the outset. Leading to a looping "Right here, right now" vocal chant, before a building flurry of snares pull you into the bass-ridden drop, featuring that raw warehouse rave beat.

"Dance All Night" has since become a weapon of choice for a number of industry icons, with Cumminz getting the nod of approval from Roger Sanchez, Laurent Garnier, Tim Barekso, and Radio 1 DJ; Monki. With his debut single now aired, expect plenty more from Cumminz throughout the summer.
